About The Therapist

Marcie Schweitzer graduated from Omaha School of Massage Therapy and Bellevue University with a Bachelor's of Science in Health Care Management.  Her therapeutic massage techniques learned in massage therapy school included a strong foundation in trigger point and deep tissue massage.  

Marcie worked at the physical therapy clinic, PT Hawaii, Inc. where she administered physician-prescribed and diagnosis-based massage treatments.  She enjoyed developing relationships with patients from a variety of ages, ethnicities and wellness needs, and partnering with all types of people.  Marcie is especially passionate about working with the elderly, as indicated by her background in management at an assisted living facility including residents with Alzheimer's Disease and dementia.  She also has experience as a health care compliance inspector for assisted livings and nursing homes.

When Marcie isn't practicing massage, she enjoys spending time with her family and an active lifestyle that includes kickboxing, running, walking her dogs and time in nature.  Marcie receives routine massage therapy for mind/body balance.
